The water-cooled, 4-cycle diesel, 6-cylinder in line, direct injection turbocharged, charge air cooled engine is built for power, reliability, efficiency and reduced emission. The engine is manufactured to perform in wide range of heat, humidity and dust conditions without compromising productivity.
It helps to meet extreme power requirement when working with peak loads. If high digging pressure is observed for more than 1 second, the controller automatically boosts digging forces to meet job condition.
It helps to maintain machine in optimum health by displaying key machine information like oil temperature, coolant temperature, maintenance checklists, and other such vital statistics. It also lets the operator choose between 3 power modes and 2 work mode.
With Hyundai's proprietary remote management service, users can check important machine information anytime, anywhere! They can track machine’s exact location, set work boundaries and check vital diagnostic information. It helps to save time by reducing the need for multiple service calls. And also saves money by enabling preventive maintenance and reducing machine downtime.
The auto-piloted swing priority increases hydraulic oil flow to swing circuit in combined operation, which leads to faster swing cycle for more productivity & profitability.
The advanced CAPO (Computer Aided Power Optimization) system tunes engine and pump power to optimum level. Multiple modes selections are available for various workloads, maintaining high performance while reducing the fuel consumption.
One touch deceleration switch on top of LH joystick lowers the engine RPM when selected. This saves fuel by regulating pump and engine.Auto Idle function moderates engine RPM to idle state when machine remains idle for 4 sec by enabling MCU to send a signal to engine. This in turn reduces fuel consumption and operation cost.
This smart feature keeps a record of scheduled time interval for each maintenance area. This feature ensures maintenance of the machine by keeping the operator updated at all the times.
Made with high tensile strength steel, the boom & arm are reinforced with steel bearings and internal baffle plates to withstand wear and tear, thus extending component life. Additionally the reinforced ribs are provided to prevent damage from lifted boulders.
The frames are built to withstand tougher conditions by enduring external shocks and heavy workloads, thus extending machine life.
Side Member reinforcement protects the idler from any damage in tough terrains. A heavy-duty track shoe provides better stability and durability on harsh terrains.
The 9S series cabin structure has been fitted with stronger but slimmer tubing for more safety and improved visibility. Structural Integrity was tested by way of FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and long-term durability test.
This feature monitors coolant temperature and automatically lowers engine speed if it overheats, preventing premature failure of the machine.
This feature prevents the starter from restarting during engine operation if the operator accidently turns on the start key. Thus preventing accidental damage to the engine.
Anti-slip pads provides a great floor grip to the operator and prevent skidding while working on the machine. Handrails provide additional support and safety to the operator while entering or exiting the cabin.
A rear-view camera is integrated into the monitor, which allows for safer and easier operation while driving in reverse.
The spacious Air Conditioned cabin creates a very comfortable working environment for the operator.
Hyundai excavators feature deluxe operator's seats with mechanical suspension, selectable heat and adjustable arm rests and control consoles. Seats are fully adjustable for maximum operator comfort.
The digital cluster displays key machine information like oil temperature, coolant temperature, and other vital statistics. Optimized performance is achieved by letting operator to choose between two power modes, three work modes and two User Modes.
The audio system includes an AM/FM radio, a USB-based MP3 player, an integrated Bluetooth hands-free feature and a built-in microphone to allow for phone calls while at work and in transit. The audio system controls are located on the right side of the operator for convenient access.
